Galley At the Marina

I like that it's at the marina with plenty of parking. The live band was a plus. Food arrived quickly , service was good.

First time visit, Saturday morning: The Wife & I have had this bayside restaurant on our to-go-to list for awhile. The hostess greeted us brightly and asked our preference for seating, but suggested a view of the marina. Despite a chill in the air, the nearby heaters made it quite cozy. The food was great, Belgian Waffle with Blackberries for the Wife, drop biscuits with sausage gravy & eggs and potatoes for me. The pleasure in the sausage gravy was that I did not have to search to find the sausage, as I have (with a magnifying glass) at other places offering this Southern fare. The view of the marina was very relaxing. We'll definitely return.

Fun place for dancing on the weekend. Lots of great beer to choose from and really good food options.

Very neat and accessible place. They offer big meals and for inexpensive rates. I enjoyed the meals a lot and the staff members were very welcoming and informative. Highly recommended.

Great food, I have been coming here for years with family and friends and have always received great food and service. In my opinion my highest rated dishes on the menu would be the Fish and Chips, and the Clam Chowder.

The restaurant is beautiful inside and has a gorgeous view of that marina. There's one room in particular that I like that has wood paneling and a beautiful fireplace. The service was also excellent. I tried their crab, bacon and avocado sandwich with a cup of clam chowder. However, the bacon was tough, like jerky, and the chowder was good but rather thin

Butch and I go there for the friendly atmosphere and great food. The servicers are kind and friendly. We like to order fried fish and chips. The portions are well beyond most places that service fish and chip. Highly recommend this plate because you can share with your partner or friends. Overall, enjoy the atmosphere, the people and enjoy the live music.

The galley at the marina is truly one of my heart filled places to go and eat whether is for happy hour , or my favorite for breakfast.....both have awsome deals , especially in the morning......having great marina views , and great service , along with live music 4 days out of the week , then being able to walk just steps away and enjoy the chula vista marina , and bayside park is priceless . Including for the little ones like mine seen below enjoying her favorite happy hour sliders .....ty to all the staff that do such an amazing job everytime we walk in ......I would recommend the galley for breakfast, lunch , or dinner , even celebrations of any kind ....thank you and enjoy

This is my go to restaurant for breakfast! Jessica is often my waitress and she is great: friendly, attentive, helpful, and never gets my order wrong. I always bring my small daughters here, they won't eat breakfast anywhere else.

Beautiful view of the Chula Vista marina. I've eaten here many times for lunch and dinner. My first time for breakfast. My breakfast, of eggs and bacon, was great. Others in my family raved about their french toast.

I loved everything I had, the Eggs Benedict and the Bloody Mary are bomb. Our waitress was great too, and she was handling the whole one section of the diner on a late Sunday morning on St. Patty's Day.

The Parkway at the Galley was an excellent venue for our Wedding reception. Gavin and Casi made it so easy to set up. Personal and professional. The area set aside for the reception was far beyond our expectations. Wonderful food, from breakfast to lunch to dinner! Dinners are pricey but well prepared. Lunches are yummy. Breakfasts are great every single time. You can also enjoy views of the Chula Vista Marina while you dine!

This is a nice restaurant on the bay. I love the beautiful view, indoor/outdoor seating (with heat lamps), and abundant parking. I had the chicken tortilla soup and really enjoyed it. The chips and avocado we're fresh and I liked the touch of spice.I look forward to returning to the Galley.

Great food, good service, fantastic ocean view with plenty of parking, love the live music. The owner must have worked very hard to keep this restaurant going all these years. It’s a tough business, like most businesses, and she’s expected to please everyone which is impossible. This restaurant is a blessing to Chula Vista.

Wonderful food and good orices

My wife and I Iove this place. We eat here whenever we can. The harbor view is pleasant sets a great backdrop for every meal. Every dish, both breakfast and dinner, have been excellent. The prime rib is amongst the best I've ever had. The chicken pasta is buttery and savory. The chicken salad is a generous portion and the chicken is cooked to order.Service is always prompt and friendly.

Beautiful views of the Marina, nice seating outside. Hubby ordered the Southwestern Omelet with hash browns and I ordered the Croissant Scramble with home fries. I thought my order would be a croissant filled with the eggs. Instead it's a omelet on top of the croissant. Can't imagine why anyone would want an omelet on top of a croissant, if that's your thing order this menu item. Coffee okay, appeared there are a lot of repeat customers, so will give another try sometime.

Eat there often...extensive menus of fresh seafood. Well managed, very competent staff super fun place to eat with well made cocktails and good beer selection. Recommend the Fish and Chips" come hungry! Great location...will return as often a can get up to SD.

Went for breakfast after a morning walk at 8 and stayed until 4 p.m. Met a great bunch of people really nice. If it's like this all the time I will clearly be a regular. Really nice people there.

Great views, great service and great place to enjoy a meal. I ordered the fish and chips, the chips were great the batter was perfect, but the fish lacked flavor and quality. Still will be back to try other menu items.

Excellent!! My husband and I got the fish and chips. It was great! I didn't like the cole slaw. But I am a southern girl and the cole slaw may have been just the way a true Californian likes it, so you can't go off of me on that. Unless you too are from the south. My son got the kids grilled cheese. It was huge!! He ate all of it. Very pleased with the portions. Service was great. Very nice atmosphere.

The Band on Valentine's day was awesome. The food was delicious and everyone was wonderful to us.

I was shocked at the portion size on the all you can eat fish and chips. You are not going to need a second helping, they make sure you are full the first time. This was our first visit, excellent. Dont let the other reviews scare you... it's a pub and restaurant on the beach, nicer atmosphere than anticipated my only complaint.is we waited forever for our bill but it was crowded on a Thursday

Great food, clean environment, Fireplace to dine around. Along the coast with boats & small yachts to look at, walking available right next to park, small pier with 200 ft. Plenty of parking in well lighted area. Acourse bands playing various music
